KIKI DE MONTPARNASSE x ROBERT MAPPLETHORPE - BOUDOIR CHAISE

$35,000 USD
Color: BLACK

Part of the KIKI DE MONTPARNASSE x ROBERT MAPPLETHORPE Collection.

Designed by master furniture and lighting designer Mark Brazier, our signature Chaise Boudoir is updated in polished nickel and black leather with an inkjet print of Calla Lily, 1988, by Robert Mapplethorpe.

Our Chaise Boudoir is custom-made by five artisans in a 16th-century barn in the UK's Hertfordshire countryside. It takes approximately 100 hours to make.  Brazier created the prototype more than 15 years ago after realizing that the sex furniture industry was "devoted to items with very little elegance." He felt strongly that a sense of fun and romance was needed as well as luxury and comfort.  "Sex should be about playfulness and not something shameful or kept hidden," says Brazier.
